
Job Duties: Associate, Client Reporting with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Monitor large volumes of Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivative trades and assess population for booking errors from Firm or counterparty perspective. Troubleshoot team data models utilizing Alteryx. Ensure timely completion of analysis and creation of team’s daily workflow. Liaise with various internal teams and provide resolutions that align to firm’s positional population. Work with the firm’s internal and external confirmation, middle office, and settlement systems to navigate trade booking systems utilizing platforms including Markitwire and Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Monitor team approval queues for daily workflows, assessing evidence and support compiled by team Analysts. Monitor completion of the team’s daily work queues.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, International Business, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, International Business, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: CFTC Rule 23.504, EMIR Article 11, and SEC Rule 15c3-3; Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives; Data analytics tools including Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL; creating complex data workflows, visualizing data trends, and performing advanced SQL queries to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently; reconciliation platforms including TriOptima and Acadia; working with the overall trade booking lifecycle including Pre-Trade, Trade Execution, Trade Clearing, Trade Settlement, and the final stage of Position and Risk Management; and utilizing platforms including Markitwire and Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
