- Familiarity with wellsite safety practices and rig operations
- Knowledge of pressure control procedures and hazardous energy risks

- Learn and operate specialized downhole instrumentation
- Interpret real-time or recorded well data
- Perform precise mechanical assembly work

Qualifications & Experience
- High School
- 5 years of Oil Field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Reading schematics, tool diagrams, and operating procedures
- Pressure testing tools and connections
- Diagnosing tool failures or communication problems
- Responding effectively to changing well conditions
- Making operational decisions under pressure
Working Conditions
Environment
- Operate in extreme weather and remote locations
- Work in varying temperature and around moving machinery Hours/Shifts
- 24 hour call out Physical Demands
- Lift and carry heavy parts and equipment (25-45lbs or more)
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Bending & Positioning • Visual & Sensory Requirements • Close Vision for inspecting small parts and reading gauges • Ability to distinguish colors (important for wiring) • Hear on usual sounds or engine noises for diagnosis • Work in varying temperatures • Perform physically demanding task for long shifts • Maintain concentration while performing repetitive tasks • Work long shifts in outdoor environments • Climb stairs/ladders and work around rigs safely
