📍 Location: Filton, BS34

💰 Pay: £13.67 per hour

📅 Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating early and late shifts - 42 hours per week

As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you'll play a vital role in protecting people, property, and sensitive information within a high-security aerospace and defence environment. As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you'll be the first impression of the site, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining the highest security standards.

From managing access control and conducting searches to responding to incidents and carrying out patrols, every day brings variety and responsibility. As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you'll be part of a supportive team where your professionalism, vigilance, and people skills are valued, with opportunities to develop your career in a rewarding and dynamic security environment.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Provide an effective security presence and proactive response service.
• Respond and deal with all site risk events in a timely manner.
• Carry out fire prevention duties, fire alarm and sprinkler activation.
• Perform gate duties, ensuring no unauthorised persons or vehicles enter the site, inspect site pass credentials, pass key issue, vehicle and personal searches.
• Ensure that activities are correctly recorded, reported and documented as high quality reports (verbal and/or written).
• Undertake any other duties as determined the management team.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Valid SIA Licence
• Eligibility to work in the UK and 5-year checkable history
• Fit and alert – able to patrol large perimeters and work outdoors
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance
