Doncasters Precision Castings-New England has an immediate opening for a Gate Grinder to join its Second Shift team in Groton, CT. Starting rate is $18.92 and you will earn a 5% shift premium for hours worked on second shift.
This candidate will perform belt grinding operations to remove gates from a variety of Company product castings. Exercising care, this role is responsible for smoothing and grinding gates from castings in the manufacturing process. This person will manually manipulate parts against abrasive belts to remove the gates, while checking the part for accuracy using micrometers, radius gauges, templates and fixed gauges

Qualifications
High School and/or Technical School diploma
1-3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
