
Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (FT) Lebanon
The Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive and liver diseases, is recruiting an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to join our team of 10 Associate Practice Providers and over 17 Physicians.
Our department is a highly collaborative and supportive practice environment. You will be trained to provide independent evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to a broad range of patients with a broad range of liver-related conditions. Our practice is also a high utilizer of telemedicine to allow for patient and provider flexibility. Within the larger GI section of 27 providers, you will work closely with the team of liver providers, which includes 2 MD’s, 2 APP’s, and 2 RN’s. This team will work closely with you to get trained in managing this fascinating group of patients.
The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and enjoy working in an academic health center with the opportunity to learn and teach residents and students. Proficiency with EMR and the ability to practice both independently and as part of a team are essential. This position holds a faculty appointment at the Instructor level with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
Although prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred, our practice is willing to train and mentor the right candidate to join our great team of associate providers. Relocation assistance available, along with a generous benefits package.
