Our client is a thriving community outpatient medical center seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered digestive health care. The successful candidate will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions and disorders, including those affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and biliary system
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Manage chronic gastrointestinal conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis, and related disorders
  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing disease management
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with established standards
  • Coordinate specialist referrals and ensure continuity of care for patients with complex needs
  • Remain current with advancements and best practices in the field of Gastroenterology
  • Communicate with professionalism and clarity with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Gastroenterology
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration
  • Strong clinical acumen and comprehensive knowledge of gastrointestinal conditions and endoscopic procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based care model
  • Compassionate, patient-first approach to clinical practice
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical care
