PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Average Daily Volume: 38 scopes (18 outpatient, 20 inpatient)

FACILITY INFORMATION

  • EMR System: Cerner

  • Office Equipment Available: Onsite lab, XRay

  • Specialty Backup Available: 2 physicians, 2 APPs onsite

  • Support Staff Available: 2 physicians, 2 APPs

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Endoscopy (Upper and Lower)

  • Inpatient Consults

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: Board Certified (will consider truly Board Eligible)

  • Licenses: Active Michigan (MI) License and CSR; Universal License (IMLC) acceptable if dates 60+ days out

  • DEA: Active DEA required (verbal confirmation at name clear)

  • Certifications: ACLS

  • Experience: Completed Fellowship with minimum 2–3 years of experience required

  • Other Qualifications: Local candidates only (driving distance); COVID Vaccine required; Clean background (minor malpractice acceptable)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform outpatient and inpatient endoscopy procedures (upper and lower)

  • Provide inpatient GI consultations within scheduled hours

  • Cover 24-hour weekend call (Sat/Sun) without weeknight call

  • Document patient encounters in Cerner EMR

  • Collaborate with on-site physicians and APPs to deliver comprehensive care
