Gastroenterology Physician – Full-Time

Location: Northwest Indiana (45 minutes from Chicago)

A well-established and growing healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a collegial, physician-led group in the Chicagoland area.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, strong support, and excellent earning potential within a rapidly expanding system.

Schedule & Clinical Details

• Full-time position (inpatient + outpatient mix)
• 1:7 call rotation
• Clinic volume: 20–30 patients per day
• Hospital rounding: 10–15 patients per day
• Practice location: Hobart / Crown Point, IN

Technology & Support

• EPIC EMR (HIMSS Stage VII – top-tier system, only ~5% of hospitals achieve this level)
• Fully integrated across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Dedicated support team for providers
• Strong APP (NP) support in both settings

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
• Interest in both inpatient and outpatient GI care
