Job Description

Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital and part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health network serving the greater Cambridge, Massachusetts area, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join the growing Division of Gastroenterology. Mount Auburn Hospital cares for a diverse mix of suburban and urban patients and is characterized by an exceptional and collegial working environment.

Candidate will join a busy, established, and successful practice. Mount Auburn Gastroenterology Associates offers comprehensive, cutting-edge care for patients with all types of digestive diseases, and is committed to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of these conditions. Our current range of technologies includes endoscopy and colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, high-resolution esophageal manometry, pH and impedance ambulatory reflux testing, video capsule endoscopy and infusion therapy for IBD patients. The group is supported by a team of advanced practice providers, and the position offers opportunities for teaching of residents and medical students. Candidate must be Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology.

Candidates would enjoy a generous compensation and benefits package. The Gastroenterologist selected for this full time role will be eligible for a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience and qualifications.

HMFP physicians have faculty affiliations with Harvard Medical School (HMS) and provide care throughout the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) system and additional hospitals, including Mt. Auburn Hospital.

Pay Range:

$450,000-$500,000

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
