Key Responsibilities:- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with gas lines, meters, regulators, and related equipment.- Test and verify the integrity of gas systems, ensuring proper operation and safety standards.- Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed.- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and safety precautions.- Assist in training junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Gas Service Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of gas systems and safety protocols.- Valid gas technician license or certification as required by local regulations.- Knowledge of gas codes, standards, and regulations.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
