About the Role

Are you a qualified plumber looking for a long-term career opportunity with more balance, stability, and variety?

We're looking for a Gas Service Technician to join our team supporting gas networks and facilities across the ACT and Nowra region. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain critical infrastructure that keeps homes, businesses, and communities connected to a safe and reliable gas supply.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across gas networks and facilities
• Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure the safe and reliable operation of gas assets
• Conduct risk assessments and work in accordance with safety procedures and industry standards
• Identify and report network and asset defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Support metering activities during peak periods as required
• Participate in occasional interstate travel for training and operational requirements

Roster Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, plus participation in an on-call roster (approximately 1 in 4 weeks).

About You

You're a safety-focused and customer-minded tradesperson who enjoys practical problem-solving and takes pride in delivering quality work. You will bring:

• Certificate III in Plumbing (or higher) and/or a recognised Plumbing trade qualification
• Experience in plumbing, drainage, utilities, maintenance, civil construction, or underground infrastructure
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness training
• Flexibility to participate in an after-hours on-call roster and occasional overtime
