The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Gas Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Safety maintenance of gas facilities in business establishments (Yanggam WH)
  Safety inspection of high-pressure gas sales facilities conducted
• Maintaining Labeling Workshop Safety
  Conduct safety checks
• Safety inspection and safety promotion of consumer facilities
  Regular inspection once every two years, safety flyer distribution
• Monitoring High-Pressure Gas Safety Regulations
  Law, Enforcement Decree, Rules, KGS Code Revision
• Audit and Inspection of Korea Gas Safety Corporation
  Occasional inspection twice a year and regular inspection
• Compliance with safety management regulations and retention of execution records
• Safety training and emergency training for workers
  Safety training once a month and emergency training
• Steri gas Import declaration
  Report to the Korea Gas Safety Corporation for each import
• Disposal of Steri gas

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Holder of a safety manager certificate for high-pressure gas sales facilities or
• Holder of at least one of the following certificates:
  • Gas Technician, Gas Industrial Engineer, Gas Engineer, Gas Master Technician, or Gas Technical Engineer
• Completed the sales facility safety manager training conducted by Korea Gas Safety
• Corporation with approval from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy
• Able to use English for work purposes
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
• Able to influence and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
