  • Create and update as‑built drawings based on field markups and record information.
  • Apply judgment to routine design assignments while escalating complex technical issues as needed.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously and manage assigned tasks to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, or related design platforms.

  • Foundational experience in civil drafting, design drawing, or utility‑related design work.

  • Basic working knowledge of utility design and construction standards.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related project coordination tools.

  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.

  • Effective time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

  • Willingness to learn and apply new tools, standards, and procedures.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Architectural Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, Design, or a related discipline.

  • Internship or entry‑level experience supporting gas transmission or distribution projects.

  • Familiarity with utility safe‑work practices

  • Exposure to additional design or modeling platforms.

Metrics:

  • Performance will be evaluated based on accuracy, timeliness, adherence to standards, and responsiveness to direction and feedback.
