Salary: AED 10,000 AED 12,000 per month

Our client, a reputable company in the gas distribution sector, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Gas Design Engineer to join their team in Dubai. This position is ideal for candidates searching for mechanical engineering jobs that focus on gas distribution systems. The Gas Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing and verifying Bill of Quantities (BOQ), designing gas distribution systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop gas distribution systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements.
• Prepare, review, and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for gas distribution projects.
• Conduct detailed engineering calculations and simulations to ensure design accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design layouts, schematics, and specifications for gas distribution systems.
• Oversee and coordinate installation activities to ensure compliance with design plans and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site visits to verify design feasibility, inspect installations, and ensure project progress aligns with design specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
• Update and maintain design records, technical drawings, and project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, ideal for candidates seeking mechanical engineering jobs in Dubai.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in gas distribution or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas distribution system design and engineering principles.
• Experience with preparing and verifying Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and UAE gas distribution guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in gas distribution engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience in gas distribution projects within the UAE.
• Knowledge of gas safety regulations and best practices in the UAE.
