Availability: Flexible schedule with heavy emphasis on evening and weekend work. Number of hours varies based upon seasonality of event calendar. Seasonal position with availability for October through December.
Responsible for performing bartending services for Garden events requesting beverage and concessions. The Bartender ensures Garden policies and procedures relating to the serving of alcoholic beverages are followed at all times. Including but not limited to, verifying age requirements, knowing how to make traditional and craft cocktails, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar stations.
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum of two years prior experience as a bartender. Must attend and pass the Responsible Vendor Training program as prescribed by the Alabama Beverage Control Board. The ABC board requires that a person be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
Experience using a Point-of-Sale system like Square or similar and experience bartending in events like concerts or weddings.
