Responsibilities:

• Utilize Fleet Maintenance Software (Fleetio) to track vehicle maintenance, repairs, and statuses.
• Manage vehicle service status (in and out of service).

Vehicle Service Program

• Oversee the vehicle service program with the Lead Mechanic, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure work is done efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards.

Parts Ordering & Budget Maintenance

• Assist in ordering parts within budgetary constraints.
• Monitor inventory levels and procure necessary parts.

Additional Responsibilities

• Supervise the garage staff, ensuring quality service and cost-effective operations.
• Handle direct customer interactions for garage issues and work order updates.
• Work with the Lead Mechanic to create a practical and safe workplace.
• Manage fleet maintenance, including preventive, routine repairs, and body shop work, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain up-to-date work order files and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle and vessel issues.
• Participate in scheduled dry dock repairs for boats.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum E.P.I. Technical or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in automotive, diesel, mechanical, electrical, and air-conditioning systems, plus experience in staff coordination and scheduling.
• Languages: Must speak English & Papiamento.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, problem-solving mindset, creativity, flexibility, a positive attitude, and proficiency in computer skills, diagnostic tools, and engine troubleshooting.
