Position Garage Install Tech
Type Full-Time
Experience Level: Hands-on / Skilled Trades

Garage Kings is looking for a Garage Install Tech who is highly hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with tools. This role is ideal for someone with experience installing garage cabinets, slatwall, overhead storage, and shelving. Floor coating experience is a plus, but training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install garage cabinets, slatwall systems, overhead storage, and shelving
• Perform light carpentry, accurate measuring, and leveling
• Assist with garage floor coating projects (training provided)
• Load/unload materials and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong hands-on skills and comfort using tools (must-have)
• Experience with cabinetry, storage systems, or similar installations
• Quick learner with solid problem-solving skills
• Basic carpentry knowledge
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Not a “handyman-for-hire,” but a skilled installer looking to grow with a team

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Construction, remodeling, or garage system experience
• Experience working in residential environments
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
