Ganger/Civils Chargehand (Sizewell C)

Duties will include:

Leading and coordinating a small team of civils operatives

Highways and road construction works

General groundworks and civils

Excavation and reinstatement

Drainage, ducting and utilities works

Allocating daily tasks and supporting site supervision

Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently

Monitoring progress and maintaining good site standards

Supporting the coordination of labour, plant and materials within the work area

Applicants must hold:

Valid SSSTS

Valid CSCS card appropriate to their trade and experience

Relevant NVQ Level 2 or above in a construction or civil engineering discipline

Any additional CPCS/NPORS plant tickets would be advantageous

EUSR 1 & 2 or utility-related competencies would also be beneficial

Applicants should have:

Previous experience as a Chargehand, Lead Groundworker or Civils Chargehand

Strong experience on civil engineering, highways or road projects

Experience leading or coordinating small teams

Good practical knowledge of groundworks and general civils

Experience of drainage, ducting and utilities works would be advantageous

Previous experience on major infrastructure projects would be beneficial
