Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Gaming Operations Manager to join our rapidly expanding iGaming Division at KingMakers. This role operates across KingMakers' brands in Nigeria (BetKing) and South Africa (SuperSportBet), in addition to any future markets.
Reporting to the Head of Gaming, the Gaming Operations Manager will manage the operations for the Casino vertical, including lobby management, casino game release roadmap, performance analysis and third-party game providers; as well as supporting the wider gaming team with promotional strategy and risk management.
The position requires proven operational experience in online casino environments, effective management of internal and external stakeholders, collaboration with cross-functional teams, meticulous organisation and documentation, along with a dedication to problem-solving and supporting revenue-generating commercial strategies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in online casino operations, preferably in a multi-brand, fast-paced online environment
- Demonstrated operational experience managing day-to-day casino functions, processes, and cross-functional workflows
- Strong understanding of casino lobby management, including game selection, positioning, and staging vs. production
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) to handle and publish online content
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and techniques to optimise online content
- In-depth knowledge of the latest industry trends and innovations within the online casino industry
- A detailed understanding of promotional mechanics within the online gaming space, including a strong understanding of how risk needs to be managed, and experience working with fraud teams to assess suspicious activity

- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with vendors, ensuring timely and quality delivery of products and services
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional online casino experiences
- Experience working with creative teams and providing clear briefs and guidance to ensure the production of high-quality content
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Through an in-depth understanding of the gaming industry and internal capabilities, provide insight and expertise into the gaming promotional strategy, and the use of different promotional mechanics
- Oversee the operational management of the casino vertical, including the game release roadmap via integrations and from various game providers, working with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure key releases are featured within plans
- Define the strategy for, and manage, the casino lobby including game selection, positioning and categories, working with the Product team to implement testing plans for optimal player experience
- Own the requirements for onsite content, ensuring assets are produced and acting as the casino expert to create engaging messaging and consistency in the customer journey
- Work closely with the SEO team to optimise online content for search engines and help drive traffic
- Partner with the Head of Gaming in third-party business relationships, owning the planning and delivery of supplier-led promotions, working alongside the Marketing team to ensure these complement the broader retention and acquisition plans
- Act as the main contact for escalations coming from the SOC, PayOps and CS Teams, ensuring proper escalations to the relevant stakeholders
