Tencent IEG Game Research Center (GRC) stands firmly on user perspective and statistical insights, research and pioneer areas such as user culture, game titles to the gaming industry itself. GRC Japan and Korea team is looking for an intern candidate who can participate in our daily research / data analysis process and insight development. This role will be a great opportunity to logical – thinking enthusiastic game geeks with brilliant insights about gaming industry.
Responsibilities:
Perform interpretation and translation tasks between Korean and Chinese
Conduct for daily market data analysis of game products
Provide insights on gaming and online culture-related issues
Support industry trend research and report writing
Carry out daily research and analysis on the gaming industry, with a focus on the Korean market (experience with the Japanese market is a plus)
Research on game-related IT/Content industries (entertainment/films/drama/comics, etc.)
Undergraduate student or above; previous internship or experience in related industries is preferred: Game, Entertainment, Research, etc.
Native-level Korean proficiency with excellent Mandarin Chinese speaking ability required; English/Japanese proficiency preferred
Strong logical thinking, analytical ability, and communication skills
Ability to flexibly adapt to various work environments and collaborative situations Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail Ability to work autonomously, show initiative, and be self-motivated
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in person and in writing
Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
Enthusiasm for IT/Game/Entertainment industry
