Business Development Department is dedicated to fostering connections between Tencent and top-tier game developers worldwide, catering to a diverse network of over 100 global investment partners and developers. Our primary objective is to enhance Tencent's global presence in the internet ecosystem as well as gaming sector, identifying business prospects and supporting investment partners in achieving sustainable growth. Deeply research and track the casual and puzzle game development ecosystem, with a strong focus on Match-3 and hybrid puzzle products
Analyze games from a product perspective, including core loops, level design systems, progression, and monetization structures
Provide product and R&D advisory support to internal teams and partner studios, helping improve product quality and production efficiency
Evaluate the creative ideation, execution quality, and development processes of puzzle game teams, including agile and Scrum-based workflows
Support investment and partnership evaluations by conducting structured product teardowns and development capability assessments
Contribute to talent mapping and ecosystem insights, identifying strong teams and key talent in the casual games space
Minimum of 5 years' solid hands-on experience in casual games, particularly Match-3 and/or hybrid puzzle products
Strong understanding of game design, level design, and live product development across the full production lifecycle
Proven ability to analyze and articulate product strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities in a clear and structured way
Familiarity with agile development and Scrum team models in game production environments
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams
Passion for casual games and strong curiosity about global game development ecosystems and trends
