We are seeking a talented and motivated Game Economist to join our Tetris Block Party team and contribute to our mission of delivering unforgettable experiences to our players.
As a Game Economist at PLAYSTUDIOS, you will collaborate closely with Data, Product, Monetization, and LiveOps teams to create fun, engaging, and well-balanced player experiences while improving overall game performance.
Game Economy is one of the core domains of our game and is critical to our success. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help design and balance game features, optimize in-game pricing, and support monetization and engagement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Play a critical role in the design, balancing, and optimization of new features and game mechanics
• Manage and configure pricing, offers, rewards, and in-game economy components
• Define, monitor, and analyze key game economy metrics
• Plan and analyze A/B tests to optimize gameplay, engagement, monetization, and progression KPIs
• Work closely with Product, Data, Monetization, and LiveOps teams to identify opportunities and support data-driven decision-making
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Requirements
• At least 2 year of work experience in the gaming industry- a must
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong business sense and passion for understanding player behavior, social gaming dynamics, and game economies
• BA/B.Sc. degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another quantitative field
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with numbers, formulas, and data analysis
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to develop SQL and data analysis skills
• Experience using AI tools to support analysis, streamline workflows, and enhance decision-making - a strong advantage
This is a hybrid role based in our Tel Aviv office
