This role offers the opportunity to design and develop engaging 2D and 3D cross-platform games using Java and the libGDX framework. You will be involved in the full game development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to deployment across desktop, Android, and web platforms. Working closely with artists, designers, and other developers, you will help shape immersive gameplay experiences that are both technically robust and creatively compelling. The position requires a strong focus on performance optimization, ensuring smooth gameplay across multiple devices and environments. You will also contribute to building reusable and modular code architectures that support scalable game development. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain 2D and 3D games using Java and the libGDX framework across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to prototype ideas and deliver engaging gameplay experiences.
• Optimize game performance to ensure smooth execution on desktop, Android, and web platforms.
• Build and maintain reusable, modular, and scalable codebases to support long-term development efficiency.
• Implement gameplay mechanics, UI elements, and interactive features that enhance user engagement.
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues throughout the game development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and team communication.
• Ensure continuous improvement of development processes and game quality standards.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Java programming, particularly in game development environments.
• Hands-on expertise with the libGDX framework.
• Solid understanding of cross-platform game development principles and constraints.
• Proven ability to optimize code for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Experience building modular and reusable code architectures in collaborative projects.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
• Passion for game design and creating engaging player experiences.
• Experience with 2D and 3D game development is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with deploying games across Android, desktop, and web platforms is preferred.
