Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimization of mobile and desktop games using Cocos Creator.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers and artists to deliver high-quality,engaging gameplay experiences.
  • Implement game features, systems, and mechanics as per project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and assist in code reviews.
  • Optimize code for scalability, ensuring games run efficiently on various platforms.
  • Work with the team to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards for quality and performance.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance gameplay.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in game development with a focus on Cocos Creator or Cocos2d-x.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with mobile and web game development, with proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
  • Knowledge of game optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate clearly across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience mentoring junior developers.
  • Knowledge of C++ or other programming languages is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with additional engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design and game user flow
