About the Opportunity

Gallery Attendant | $17/hour, overtime eligible

David Zwirner is seeking reliable and energetic Gallery Attendants for an upcoming exhibition at our Chelsea locations. As a Gallery Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for visitors. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and personable with a genuine interest in enhancing the visitor experience, and be comfortable standing for long periods of time.

What you’ll do:

• Warmly welcoming visitors to the gallery.
• Providing information about the current exhibition and the artist.
• Answering questions and engaging in conversation about the artwork on display.
• Maintaining awareness of visitors to ensure a controlled and respectful environment.
• Safeguarding the artwork to prevent any unauthorized handling or damage to the exhibition.
• Identifying existing and potential clients and notifying appropriate members of the Sales team.

This position is full-time and temporary, running from October 27th to December 12th, 2026. Position hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Candidates will occasionally need to work additional hours.
