Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support supervision of program participants, especially those assigned to you.
- Help ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive program environment.
- Assist with transitions, timely arrival/departure to activities, and general group movement.
- Support implementation of the Code of Conduct and Conflict Resolution Plan.
- Help with minor behavior management under staff direction.
- Assist with training sessions, workshops, and enrichment activities led by staff or guest presenters.
- Help distribute materials, set up program spaces, and clean up after activities.
- Complete required documentation (daily logs, incident reports, rosters, youth check-ins, etc.).
- Assist with organizing supplies, filing, copying, data entry, and other office tasks as assigned.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with department staff.
- Protect the confidentiality of all youth, families, and program matters at all times.
Qualification and Requirements:
- KSU undergraduate/graduate student
- Background Check Clearance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to assist with minor conflicts and support youth respectfully.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic digital tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimal exposure to physical risk.
- Work is primarily performed in an indoor environment, with occasional community-based activities
