Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 15%Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 15%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

The FVP, Transformation Lead part of Business Consulting Practice is a Lead Transformation Architect position encompassing Business & Technical Architecture and Program Management. The Business Consulting Practice is part of the Office of Transformation embedded within the Bank's transformation engine, responsible for identifying, designing, and accelerating high-impact operational improvements across Consumer & Commercial Banks and Securities Business Units.

The FVP, Transformation Lead will be responsible for managing a portfolio across 2–5 concurrent Transformation Programs, depending on the breadth and depth of each Program, operating through Strategy, Planning and Implementation Phases. They work within a defined Program Team leveraging our established Transformation Approach & Methodology Framework to accelerate delivery cycles and serve as trusted advisors to Business Units / Functions leaders across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Transformation Programs across a portfolio across multiple concurrent enterprise-level AXOS Initiatives, Modernization Projects and Process Optimization Programs delivering Business-Unit / Function Transformation Programs from Strategy, Planning & Implementation through benefits realization
  • Identify, prioritize, and quantify high-impact operational improvement opportunities; and build clear business cases for justification
  • Drive rapid, AI-enabled process redesign with a strong bias toward execution and measurable outcomes
  • Translate complex analysis into executive-ready insights; prepare and present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor and change agent, ensuring adoption, governance alignment, and post-implementation performance tracking
  • Partner with Project Management (PMO) and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery discipline, timeline adherence, and accountability across all aspects of the SDLC cycle particularly with third-party systems integration vendors
  • Experience working with or part of Systems Integration Vendors (including onshore, nearshore and offshore models) delivering Business & Technology Transformation Programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent consulting delivery experience preferred
  • 10-15+ years of consulting, transformation, or operational strategy experience in financial services, fintech, technology, or digital-first organizations
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable, time-bound transformation outcomes with executive visibility while managing multiple concurrent Programs
  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools and automation in consulting or operational contexts; strong agile, deployment-focused delivery mindset
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence without authority; structured, outcome-oriented communicator
  • Understanding and experience driving business and operations improvement consulting approaches and methodologies that serve as a framework for delivering Transformation Programs
  • Understanding and experience leading Transformation Programs where industry-leading Workflow Platforms & Applications are designed and implemented across multiple Business Units / Functions
  • Understanding and experience managing and driving all components of the SDLC from scope management to user story development to development management (including application tool sets) to testing (Unit, QA, Regression & UAT) to release management to go live and benefit measurement
