Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School is looking for a Future Student Advisorto support domestic student recruitment across Sydney and New South Wales, with a focus on school engagement, lead generation and enrolment conversion for our undergraduate and postgraduate hospitality courses.
This is a sales-driven role with purpose. You willrepresentone of Australia’s leading hotel management schools, building relationships with schools, careers advisers, students,parentsand key influencers to help future students explore pathways into hospitality, hotelmanagementand global careers.
About the role
As Future Student Advisor – Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, you willbe responsible forgenerating quality student leads, nurturing prospectivestudentsand supporting them from first interest through to application and enrolment.
You will be based in Sydney and will regularly travel to schools,eventsand the Blue Mountains campus, as well as attend activity at our Sydney campus. This role combines field-based school engagement, relationship management, studentrecruitmentand consultative sales.
You will work closely with the Student Recruitment team to grow awareness of Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, strengthen schoolrelationshipsand convert opportunities into enrolment outcomes.
Whatyou’llbe doing
In this role, you will:
Represent Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School across schools, expos,eventsand student recruitment activities.
Build and strengthen relationships with careers advisers, teachers, principals, students,parentsand key school contacts.
Visit schools across Sydney and New South Wales to promote BMIHMS courses and study pathways.
Travel to the Blue Mountains campus and Sydney campus asrequiredfor events,visitsand student engagement.
Deliver engaging presentations and information sessions about hospitality, hotelmanagementand career pathways.
Generate quality leads from prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Support school leavers through TAC preference, application and offer processes where relevant.
Nurture prospective students through phone, email, digitalengagementand face-to-face follow-up.
Convert student interest into applications and enrolments.
Manage your pipeline andmaintainaccurateschool,leadand student records in Salesforce.
Contribute to monthly sales reporting and progress against recruitment targets.
Support Open Days, campus tours, informationsessionsand school-based activities.
Identifynew opportunities to grow awareness and engagement with the Blue Mountains student cohort.

You will know how to build trust with schools, create strong studentinterestand follow up consistently to move prospective students from enquiry to application and enrolment.
This role suits someone who enjoys being out in the market, presenting to groups, managingrelationshipsand working toward clear sales and enrolment targets.
The strongest performers will be disciplined,resilientand organised. They will manage their territory, build their pipeline, understand studentmotivationsand convert opportunities into outcomes.
High performers in this role can achieve strong total earnings, with potential around $160K per year, depending on performance, targets,eligibilityand commission plan terms.

About you
You may come from student recruitment, education sales, field sales, business development, account management, school engagement, events, hospitality, recruitment, customeracquisitionor another relationship-led sales environment.
You will bring:
Experience in sales, business development, studentrecruitmentor a target-driven role.
Confidence building relationships with schools,studentsand professional stakeholders.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to engage students,parentsand careers advisers in meaningful conversations.
Strong follow-up discipline and confidence converting interest into action.
Comfort working toward lead generation,applicationand enrolment targets.
Strong organisation and territory management skills.
CRM experience, ideally Salesforce.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied calendar.
Interest in hospitality, hotel management,educationor career pathways.
Flexibility to work some outside-hours activities depending on school visits,exposand events.
Essential requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
To be based in Sydney.
A current driver licence.
Access to your own reliable vehicle.
Willingness to travel regularly for school visits,eventsand campus activity.
Ability to obtain or hold relevant Working with Children clearance, whererequired
Flexibility to attend occasional after-hours events,exposor school activities.
