Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Fusion ERP Reporting & Analytics Consultant with 7+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion reporting and analytics. The role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting reports, dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions across Oracle Fusion ERP modules.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL, Financials subject areas, dashboards, data models, and report development, along with the ability to translate business reporting needs into accurate, high-performing, and user-friendly analytics solutions

- Design, develop, test, and support Oracle Fusion ERP reports and dashboards across Financials, Project Portfolio Management, and Supply Chain business areas.

  • Build and enhance BI Publisher reports, including data models, layouts, bursting, parameters, and scheduling.
  • Develop and configure OTBI analyses, dashboards, prompts, and subject-area-based reports aligned to business requirements.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for reporting, reconciliation, data validation, and performance tuning.
  • Gather and analyze business reporting requirements, prepare technical specifications, and convert functional needs into scalable reporting solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve reporting issues related to data accuracy, performance, security, integrations, and report output formats.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, technical teams, and support teams to deliver accurate and meaningful reporting outcomes.
  • Develop custom extensions using Oracle Visual Builder Studio and Application Composer where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion ERP reporting and analytics.
  • Strong experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL, dashboards, data models, and report development
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP business processes, especially in Financials
  • Experience working with Financials subject areas and developing reports for modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, or related areas.
  • Experience supporting reporting needs across Project Portfolio Management and/or Supply Chain business areas.
  • Ability to create technical specifications based on business reporting requirements.
  • Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills, including performance tuning.
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services
  • Ability to analyze data issues, validate report outputs, and resolve reporting defects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio and Application Composer for custom extensions.
  • Experience with report migration, security configuration, role-based access, and production support.
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations and downstream reporting dependencies.
  • Oracle Fusion ERP or reporting-related certifications.
  • Experience working in customer-facing consulting, managed services, or support-integrated delivery environments.

Self-Assessment Questions

  • Do you have 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing reports in Oracle Fusion ERP?
  • Have you independently built BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, SQL-based data models, and reporting layouts?
  • Can you troubleshoot report performance, data accuracy, subject area, and SQL issues across Fusion ERP modules?
  • Have you worked on reporting requirements for Oracle Fusion Financials, and preferably PPM or Supply Chain?
  • Are you comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and functional consultants to translate reporting needs into technical solutions?
