
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Furnace Tech 3 – Graveyard Shift role in Vancouver, WA Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00pm–7:00am (Graveyard Shift)
Pay: $24–$30/hr DOE
· Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial furnace equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production operations.
· Set up furnace cycles according to established specifications, including temperature control, timing, and material requirements.
· Load and unload materials into furnaces, ensuring proper handling, placement, and tracking of work orders.
· Perform routine quality checks on heat-treated or processed materials to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
· Monitor furnace gauges, controls, and automated systems, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance.
· Follow all safety protocols, including high-heat operating procedures and PPE requirements, to maintain a safe working environment.
· Record process data, including temperatures, cycle times, and production output, with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and notify supervisors of equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
· Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to meet daily throughput and quality goals.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company and safety standards.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
· Previous experience working with industrial furnaces, heat treat processes, or heavy manufacturing equipment preferred.
· Ability to work in high-temperature environments for extended periods.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
· Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on graveyard shift.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Willingness to learn and follow strict safety and operational procedures.
