Job Description

This position requires Team Members to operate and monitor multiple types of induction furnaces as well as maintain chemistry and temperatures to specification. This is achieved by adding alloys (manual lifting up to 50 pounds) and taking samples and temperatures from the furnace. Adjustments will be made based on these results and all information recorded.

1st shift = $27.34

2nd shift = $28.59

3rd shift = $28.34

Requirements

  • Develop working knowledge of the entire Melt Department.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to provide direction to the Melt Team.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Ability to work in high heat environment which includes molten metal.
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
  • Ability to understand and complete required training including forklift and crane operation training.
