The Funeral - Event Coordinator (Funeral Director) serves the families by guiding them through the process of making informed decisions when arranging a loved one’s funeral with care and compassion. You will be the primary point of contact to families, parish staff, vendors, and CFCS staff for the funeral services. As our Funeral - Event Coordinator (Funeral Director), you will communicate, coordinate, and follow-through on all aspects of the funeral service case.

Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) is a Church-owned nonprofit organization founded in faith and dedicated to providing education, outreach and professional funeral, cremation and cemetery services while following the teachings of the Church. CFCS staff works in numerous dioceses around the country, supporting over 30 active cemeteries that conduct over 10,000 burial services annually. We also serve around 10 funeral centers that provide over 2,500 funeral and cremation services year after year. CFCS’ goal is to create a healthy and sustainable environment and reinvigorate the vital Catholic funeral and cemetery ministry in dioceses that are being challenged to sustain their operations.
