Purpose Statement

• To improve claims operational excellence, increase customer satisfaction, minimize losses for Capitec Insurance through accurate and holistic assessment of insurance non-medical claims (life, funeral) in accordance with terms and conditions of the respective policy/ies, legislative frameworks and goals, objectives, processes and standards sets by Capitec.
  

Experience

Minimum:

• 3+yrs non medical, disability claims assessing experience

Qualifications (Minimum)

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

Knowledge

Miniumum:

• Understanding of the long-term insurance industry and claims handling processes, including the disability landscape
• Understanding of fully underwritten insurance policies, including underwriting criteria, exclusions, and conditions

Ideal:

• Ideally, an understanding of medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and causes of death in the context of life insurance claims.
• Knowledge of relevant legal framework relating to non medical insurance claims
