The Climate Dividends Initiative

Climate Dividends is a non-profit association co-founded by Ademe, Mirova, Team for the Planet, Sweep, 2050 and Fondation Kanopée Partage and chaired by Brune Poirson

We carry a mission that is both technical and systemic: accelerating the financing of the transition by creating the standard for positive climate contribution.

Our mechanism

We have designed the Climate Dividends, a methodological framework and a certification mechanism that allows for the quantification of a company's positive climate impact (in tonnes of CO2e avoided or removed) and its integration into company valuation.

👉 1 tonne of CO2e avoided / removed = 1 Climate Dividend, issued and "distributed" to shareholders.

The objective To make this indicator the compass for international institutions to direct massive capital towards solutions that truly save the climate.
1 tonne of CO₂e avoided or removed by the company’s activity > 1 Climate Dividend distributed to the shareholder.

The team

We are a focused, expert operational team:

• Laura Beaulier, (CEO - Marketing & Sales Strategy)

• Simon Deschamps(Scientific Director)

• Mathilde Recot (Director of Operations)

supported by a high-level Board of Directors, an independant scientific committee and volunteers.

Our ambition for 2026

To move from a proof of concept and a robust methodological foundation to the global reference indicator for banks, investors, and companies.

What we are looking for

Money is the sinew of the climate war.

Your mission is to secure the resources that will allow Climate Dividends to sustain its impact.

• You manage membership renewals (our back base) while boosting our HelloAsso page to make it a donation machine.

• You identify calls for projects and write rock-solid applications. Nothing escapes you, from French patronage to European funds.

• You manage the follow-up of requests from funders where applicable.

• You participate in the strategic financing reflection with the CEO.

Requirements

The subject is complex, the stakes are colossal, and the market is in full swing.

We are not looking for executors, but for growth partners capable of grasping this complexity to transform it into concrete impact.

Prerequisites

• You have experience in fundraising.

• You speak English fluently (non-French-speaking funders identification and applications to fill out in English).

• If you have general ESG / impact / sustainable finance knowledge, it helps a lot.

Conditions

• Start: May/June.

• Rhythm / Duration: 1 to 2 month test then extension depending on strategy and results.

• 100% Remote (you can easily meet up from someone from the team if you are based in Lyon / Marseille or Paris)

• Remuneration to be discussed: fixed fee and/or success fee.
