As a Fund Servicing Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing operations. Your primary focus will be on executing routine transactions and collaborating with various teams. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Your emotional intelligence will help you build strong relationships and influence better outcomes. Job responsibilities  
  • Support team management in overseeing daily Fund Services operations, ensuring smooth execution of Depositary activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of Depositary Records in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and client agreements.
  • Proactively escalate unclear or time-sensitive instructions to mitigate operational risk.
  • Maintain adherence to internal controls, ensuring consistent application of the 4-eyes principle.
  • Respond to internal stakeholder queries with high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial markets, fund structures, and operational processes.
  • Drive process improvements, including enhancement of procedures, controls, and efficiency.
  • Support preparation of departmental KPIs, internal projects, and system testing initiatives.
  • Facilitate client, investor, and regulatory reporting, while supporting investigation and resolution of client queries in coordination with relevant teams and OCM.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including exposure to reconciliation, fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in BAU controls, including reconciliations, exception management, and query resolution in a deadline-driven setup.
  • Thorough understanding of maker-checker (4-eyes) controls, with focus on maintaining robust control evidence and audit trails.
  • Ability to identify control gaps, raise issues, and drive them through to resolution with proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across upstream and downstream stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates SME-level expertise, acting as a process coach and guiding team members on controls and best practices.
  • Proactive in identifying risks and escalating potential issues in a timely and structured manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in high-volume environments.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (lookups, pivots, formulas) with a continuous improvement mindset, contributing to process standardization and clear stakeholder communication.
