As a Fund Servicing Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing operations. Your primary focus will be on executing routine transactions and collaborating with various teams. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Your emotional intelligence will help you build strong relationships and influence better outcomes. Job responsibilities  

  • Manage workflow through the Trade life cycle, ensuring seamless processing from initiation to completion.
  • Reconcile and investigate trades breaking on reconciliation (FA vs. Custody), ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off, including client service enquiry resolution, cash and stock break management, and event management.
  • Produce all key metrics as required within given timelines, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
  • Own issues related to the Trades Team and escalate timely to both Operational and Risk leads.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures regularly, aligning with new policies and ongoing risk management activities.
  • Assist managers in daily governance and supervisory control implementation.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Hold a B Com/CA/MBA with 3+ years of experience in asset servicing or the investment domain.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of financial instruments and fund accounting terms.

  • Operate with a deadline-focused mindset and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Function as a good team player, supporting overall team delivery.

  • Display operational subject matter expertise, especially in reconciliation, settlements, and trade support.
  • Display high levels of integrity, operating with open and honest interaction.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

  • Leverage a reconciliation background as a significant advantage, evidencing the ability to compare transactions/positions and investigate and resolve differences.
  • Apply client service experience in financial services as an advantage, managing and liaising effectively with multiple groups.
