Job Description

Help ensure investors and stakeholders can trust the numbers that power investment decisions. In this role, you’ll strengthen fund reporting, controls, and operational excellence across a growing platform. You’ll collaborate closely with portfolio, finance, and external partners while building skills in reporting, audit support, and process improvement. We’ll support your growth through meaningful work, team learning, and opportunities to broaden your scope.

As a Fund Reporting Associate in our Asset Management Business Platform team, you support daily fund operations and deliver accurate financial, tax, and regulatory outputs on time. You partner with fund accounting and internal stakeholders to prepare reporting, respond to inquiries, and resolve operational issues. You help strengthen process controls and reduce operational risk through disciplined execution and continuous improvement. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where clear communication, ownership, and attention to detail matter.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations for mutual funds, segregated mandates, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) while meeting reporting deadlines
  • Coordinate with fund accountants to deliver required regulatory reporting and responses
  • Partner with portfolio managers on distribution-related operational needs and external communications
  • Prepare audit schedules, compliance reporting support, tax return inputs, financial statements, and recurring reporting packages
  • Resolve operational breaks by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
  • Open and maintain investment accounts for new funds and fund renewals
  • Implement and maintain strong controls across operational workflows to reduce errors and risk
  • Track deliverables, issues, and resolutions to improve transparency and execution consistency
  • Support team priorities and operational initiatives that improve service, quality, and scalability
  • Build cross-functional relationships to improve collaboration and speed of execution
  • Adapt to change and participate in cross-functional rotations as business needs evolve

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of experience in financial services with working knowledge of fund accounting
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin with the ability to present clearly to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ownership, self-discipline, and ability to deliver accurately under time pressure
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions
  • Experience improving processes and using automation tools (for example, Alteryx or UiPath) to increase efficiency
  • Required professional licensing: Securities Investment Trust Enterprise (SITE) / Securities Investment Consulting Enterprise (SICE) certificates (or equivalent as applicable)

  • Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to problem solving
  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting and compliance deliverables
  • Knowledge of investment account onboarding and ongoing account maintenance processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Openness to new challenges, change, and learning across different operational areas
