This Officer position plays an important part within our mutual fund trading group. The role will be accountable for onboarding new major clients to our Fund Ordering Service, will assist in testing our latest mutual fund trading platform and will help shape our future operating model.

As Fund Ordering Services Business Analysis Lead, Officer you will:
Gain in-depth knowledge of mutual fund trading infrastructure and business processes
Support the onboarding of new clients and conversion of existing relationships
Perform comprehensive analysis of trading and settlement workflows for a variety of investment funds
Produce detailed technical documentation of business requirements in collaboration with technical and business teams, including workflow diagrams and mapping of system messages
Test new functionality and record outcomes
Implement changes and oversee successful client launches
Evaluate and enhance internal processes to automate, mitigate risk, and optimise workflows
Ensure completion of team deliverables within set deadlines, update procedures and checklists, and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures
Work independently and confidently in a dynamic technical environment
Foster relationships with colleagues across various functional teams
Investigate and resolve queries for clients, trading partners, and internal stakeholders
Take responsibility for business-as-usual activities in the future

Ability to understand and contribute to documented business and technical system requirements
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in financial services industry
Proven track record of Change Management experience & delivery – Program Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, Testing, Production Support
Certification of proven Change Management skills (PM , BA) would be an advantage
Technically confident; power user of Excel
Work requirements
Hybrid role model - 3 days of work from the office required
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
