
Securities Lending Operations is a global function that enables Vanguard to engage in securities lending activities that deliver meaningful value and improve shareholder outcomes—while balancing risk, controls, and scalability. The global team manages the life-cycle of securities lending activity—collateral, reconciliations, recalls/returns, buy-ins, corporate actions, and oversight—while modernizing processes and technology to scale safely.

The Senior Specialist is responsible for defining, designing, and driving the next generation of workflows, technology capabilities, and automation that enable scale and reduce operational risk. We’re looking for a candidate with deep securities lending experience and demonstrated strength in process engineering, workflow design, and operational architecture, coupled with industry engagement to drive effective change and build future-state operational processes. Success in this role means creating and delivering on an actionable operational improvements’ roadmap, influencing stakeholders, delivering prioritized outcomes, improving process health against quality and risk targets, and improving scalability.
