About Your Company

Our client is a multinational company and mainboard listed in Hong Kong, they are expanding the business and looking to hire a new headcount under fund accounting team to handle fund operations & finance related tasks (one man band) for a startup fund portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of fund accounting activities, including account reconciliations, net asset value calculations, and financial reporting
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for investment funds
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations (FRR), and client guidelines
• Implement process improvements and enhance internal controls
  
• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders including fund admin and auditors
  
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by top management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting, fund admin or investment accounting related
• Professional Qualification in CPA, ACCA, ICAEW or related would be a PLUS, not a MUST
• Sound knowledge in handling fund operations, accounting standards and able to work independently
• Fund Set up experience will be a PLUS
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Applications
• Strong communication & problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
