Job Description

Are you an analytical and driven professional ready to impact the future of SEB’s real estate and infrastructure funds? Join our Real Estate and Infrastructure team as a Fund Accountant and contribute to shaping a sustainable tomorrow. This appointment is offered on a fixed-term basis as maternity leave cover, for a minimum duration of 12 months with the possibility of being extended.

Since SEB was founded in 1856, our focus on customers and long-term relationships has been at the heart of our success. We aim to drive positive change by providing capital to help everyone reach their goals and accelerate progress towards a sustainable tomorrow. As a leading financial services group in northern Europe, we’ll help you grow and empower you to take on more responsibility to create a real difference. Welcome to SEB.

About the role:

As a Fund Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in the setup, administration, and follow-up of SEB’s real estate and infrastructure funds. You will manage extensive internal and external reporting, focusing on Luxembourg-based funds, quarterly/annual reports, budgets, and valuation processes.

The role demands strong communication to handle complex inquiries from auditors and compliance in both Sweden and Luxembourg. Collaborating closely with fund controllers and asset managers, you’ll actively contribute to fund development, profitability analysis, and bringing new ideas to our SEK 40 billion AUM team within SEB Asset Management AB in central Stockholm. You will report to the Team Manager for Controlling & Analytics.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• A university degree in business administration, finance, or an equivalent field.

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Experience with the Microsoft Office package.

• Prior experience or exposure to auditing, financial reporting, or real estate/infrastructure funds is highly meritorious.

• A strong analytical, structured, and proactive approach with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What we offer:

• Extensive training and learning opportunities

• Hybrid work model, meaning remote work is possible up to 2 days/week

• Attractive compensation and access to SEB staff banking with exclusive benefits

• Possibilities to reskill by shifting areas/departments and location

• A diverse, inclusive and equal environment

Do you want to be part of SEB?

It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected, and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.

Since we select candidates continuously, feel free to send in your application today via the link in this ad, but no later than 2026-05-17. If you have questions about the position, please contact Ashkan Rahimi, ashkan.rahimi@seb.se, note that we will not process applications via email.

Please be aware that our final candidates undergo background checks, a process that includes for example identity control, verification of qualifications, credit checks, company engagements and history of crime. In some cases, we also apply random drug checks. During employment, employees within SEB can also expect to undergo recurring background checks.

SEB Sweden has a redeployment responsibility, which means that this position might be covered by internal redeployment.
