The Training & Development Specialist is an operational role that will be assisting in development of training content and its delivery across Rollout Services division under Global Services Group. As a training specialist, you will seek to find resourceful ways to bring learning to the organization. You will source content from SME’s and business stakeholders to design and conduct required training. In this role you will drive and track training initiatives. You will be the constant between all teams and will determine if we need to provide additional training and/or revise a process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The job responsibilities of the Training Specialist include the following:
Meet with internal business leaders to assess training and development needs
Come up with best solutions to get training designed, sourced (if appropriate) and delivered
Gather content from SME’s and design applicable training for all Rollout Services departments.
Present innovative ways to deliver required content without taking audiences off the job for extended periods, offering micro or bite size learning approach & communications
Manage and track training courses and certification programs using the company LMS, Cornerstone where possible.
Work closely with the Business Systems team to ensure our processes are in line with what our tools have to offer.
Own ConnectWise training for the onboarding process for new employees and for all staff for refresher or new topic/process training.
Develop, implement, and maintain training schedule
Consistently analyze and review processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Utilize existing software to pull reports and identify team weaknesses and training opportunities
Job Qualifications:
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
5+ years’ learning and development experience.
Proven experience in developing training modules.
ConnectWise Manage and Sell system experience required
Highly skilled in Instructional Design with experience developing training in multiple modalities that may include Documentation, Instructor Led Training, Virtual Instructor Led Training, Digital/eLearning and possibly Mobile and Video learning.
Passion for improving processes, systems and procedures while leveraging technology, Possess a high degree of flexibility, creativity, persistency, and resiliency
Ability to communicate effectively will all levels of employees & leadership, and operate in a matrix organization with shifting priorities.
Experience working with various business units/departments and have notable and referenceable success driving successful training initiatives.
Knowledge in understanding technology, technical jargon, system architecture and workflows preferred
Must have the ability to create charts, process flow diagrams, spreadsheets etc. to facilitate easier transfer of knowledge to end users
