Job Title: Functional / Technical Lead (Digital Applications, Online Banking & Banker Desktop)

As a Functional / Technical Lead within Private Bank Technology, you will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the digital platforms that power the client and banker experience. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology professionals to deliver innovative solutions across online banking, client onboarding, lending, investment, and relationship management platforms. In this role, you will help drive the evolution of digital banking capabilities while ensuring applications remain stable, secure, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Do

• Lead the delivery, support, and continuous enhancement of digital banking applications supporting clients, relationship managers, lending teams, and operations partners
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution designs, and translate business needs into actionable technology deliverables while driving strategic initiatives across online banking, client portals, onboarding solutions, banker desktop platforms, and customer relationship management applications
• Manage application integrations, API-enabled solutions, testing activities, release cycles, production deployments, and environment management processes to ensure application stability, resilience, security, and performance
• Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution efforts while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness
• Support modernization initiatives by collaborating with technology teams on cloud adoption, digital transformation, and platform evolution efforts
• Partner with internal and external technology vendors to support application enhancements, integrations, and platform lifecycle management

How You’ll Lead

• Manage application integrations, testing activities, release cycles, and production deployments to ensure application stability and performance

Skills You’ll Need

• Proven experience supporting digital banking, wealth management, private banking, or other client-facing financial services technology platforms, with expertise in application architecture, system integration, API-based solutions, and end-to-end application delivery
• Hands-on experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), testing, release management, production support, incident management, and platform performance optimization
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions, with an understanding of application resilience, security principles, and operational controls
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Skills That Will Help You Excel

• Experience supporting online banking platforms, client portals, NetX360, Salesforce/DBForce Banker Desktop solutions, or related digital banking applications
• Knowledge of client onboarding, KYC, deposits, lending, investment, advisory, and relationship management business processes
• Experience working with third-party/vendor banking platforms and integrations with core banking systems
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, modern digital architecture concepts, and platform modernization initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $222,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
