Primary Responsibilities

Ideal candidate focuses on optimizing warehouse operations by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions. They will work on SAP/EWM warehouse management systems, focus on operations stability, and collaborate with various functional teams to resolve system issues, support end users and implement changes. Their key responsibilities include managing the smooth functioning of ERP(SAP) system, process optimization, process improvement and ensuring data integrity.

Essential Functions

  • Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to forge productive working relationships with W/H operators, senior business users and business managers and acquire subject matter expertise efficiently.
  • Working on ‘SAP-EWM’ and other relevant technologies to optimize processes and improve operational performance. provide support to end user community by working independently.
  • Ability to analyze complex cross-functional business processes, identify gaps, and define functional and integration requirements.
  • Responsible for resolving system (SAP-EWM) and related business process issues logged by end users in ticketing system.
  • Analyzing warehouse data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in order fulfillment, inventory management and overall efficiency.
  • Create and manage business documentation including SOP, work instructions, current state and future state process maps, user stories, business requirement document, functional requirement document and system requirement specifications.
  • Developing and implementing solutions to streamline warehouse operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Working with various functional teams, including operations, IT, and management, to implement changes and ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate with business SMEs to ensure expectations are kept in line with operations excellence.
  • Drives the definition, testing, training, and implementation of functional requirements
  • Support and coordinate user acceptance testing
  • Support the development of training materials and execution. Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to Production Support.
  • Develop presentations for senior management to facilitate discussions on project or program progress, results, and assistance needed from them.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or operations or warehouse management, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience in Warehouse functions must have for this role.
  • Certification on SAP EWM module is a must have.
  • 5 plus years of experience on SAP/EWM application maintenance, business analysis, process improvement, and W/H system implementation support
  • Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional is an asset
  • Experience with SAP ERP with Warehouse functions is a must have.
  • Background in CPG, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Retail industry is preferred
  • Advanced Excel, Visio, and Power BI (nice to have) proficiency
  • Advanced knowledge of Jira (nice to have)
  • Working knowledge of agile frameworks, such as Scrum, or Kanban to deliver solutions
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and research skills
  • Proven analytical background
  • General knowledge of Information Systems

The base compensation range for this role is $56,000 CAD - $84,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
