About the role
The Clinical Application Specialist role has become available for a highly motivated and dynamic individual who has excellent clinical knowledge and use of systems such as MedChart, Charm, iPharmacy or similar.
The role will provide an opportunity for a clinician to develop knowledge in configuring key clinical applications in improving hospital workflows.
As a key member of the applications team your clinical knowledge and experience will be instrumental in guiding digital transformation activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Contribute to the Cabrini’s IT leadership by providing support and advice on governance, technical consideration, KPI insights and status reporting.
Actively involved in monitoring service desk tickets in resolving issues, testing releases, account management and participates with peers in delivering yearly statutory upgrade.
Participate in projects as a subject matter expert and provide insights into applications and steering project outcomes.
Providing support and guidance to clinical end users using various applications across Cabrini multiple locations.
As a pivotal contributor to the digital strategy the individual will maintain expertise in all aspects of clinical applications in sustaining and improving functionality used by clinical staff.
About you
Seeking an applicant with a clinical background wanting to move their career forward, with supporting and configuring key clinical systems, or has demonstrated experience in leading clinical change introduced by enhancements to clinical workflows.
You will have:
Current AHPRA registration would be desired.
Good understanding of MedChart and Charm would be desired.
Highly developed communication and organisational skills.
Experience in quality improvement activities that have led to improved patient care outcomes and patient experience.
Understanding and experience of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
Ability to lead and work collaboratively with IT staff and clinical areas.
