Job Summary

As a
Functional Safety Director, you will lead the development and implementation of
functional safety processes and standards across our electric vehicle
platforms. You will ensure compliance with industry safety standards and work
closely with cross-functional teams to integrate safety principles throughout
the vehicle lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develop and execute the functional safety strategy in
  alignment with ISO 26262 standards.
• 
  Lead the functional safety team, providing guidance
  and support in safety processes and activities.
• 
  Establish and maintain the safety management system,
  ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• 
  Conduct and Oversee safety assessments, audits, and
  reviews, ensuring rigorous safety standards are met.
• 
  Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality
  teams to integrate safety principles throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
• 
  Define and validate safety goals, concepts, and
  architectures.
• 
  Interface with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and
  external stakeholders on safety matters.
• 
  Drive continuous improvement initiatives in functional
  safety processes and performance.
• 
  Provide leadership and training on functional safety to internal teams.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical
  Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 
  Extensive experience in functional safety within the
  automotive industry, with a strong focus on electric vehicles.
• 
  Deep knowledge and understanding of Automotive
  electronics systems, EE architecture and product development process.
• 
  Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 and other relevant
  safety standards.
• 
  Proven track record in launching programs complying to
  ISO 26262 safety standards
• 
  Strong networked relationship across the industry and
  with external stakeholders on safety regulations and standards
• 
  Certification in ISO 26262 is preferred
• 
  Proven leadership and team management skills.
• 
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
