For one of our clients, we are looking for a Functional QA Engineer to join their Lottery Management Services (LMS) team. In this role, you'll help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of the applications that power lottery operations for customers around the world.
Working alongside Software Engineers, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, Architects, and fellow QA professionals, you'll contribute to delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions through thorough testing, defect analysis, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to define testing scope
Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution
Participate in defect triage sessions and collaborate closely with development teams
Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before release
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities when required
Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and testing practices
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and retrospectives
Provide clear and timely status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
Experience creating and executing test cases and test plans
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Experience testing web-based applications
Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test coverage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent
Experience with API testing tools such as Postmaн
Experience with SQL and database validation
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Experience with performance or usability testing
Experience working on enterprise or high-transaction systems
Experience in regulated industries such as gaming, lottery, financial services, or e commerce
