Eligibility Criteria
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum two years of development experience in the Microsoft .NET environment.
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), X++ programming language, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of implementing, administering, and supporting large scale enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data analytics solutions using ERP reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and training skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple AKHS entities in remote environments.
- Willingness to travel, as required.
Desirable Criteria
Preference may be given to applicants who:
- Hold a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) certification, in addition to the criteria mentioned above.

The Aga Khan Health Services (AKHS) is seeking a dynamic and technically competent Functional Lead, ERP. Based in Karachi, Pakistan, the incumbent will report to the Head of Financial Analysis & Performance and support enterprise-wide ERP initiatives across AKHS operations globally.
of the Role
The Functional Lead, ERP, supports the implementation, administration, and continuous enhancement of the approved Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform across all AKHS operations. The incumbent provides functional expertise for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), ensuring effective system implementation, optimization, user support, reporting, and continuous improvement of business processes across all AKHS entities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate:
- Supports ERP implementation activities, including business analysis, system design, configuration, development, testing, data migration, user training, and deployment across AKHS entities.
- Provides post implementation functional support, system administration, configuration management, and ongoing maintenance of the ERP platform.
- Maintains standardized ERP configurations, application security, user access controls, software licensing, and other system components requiring centralized management across AKHS.
- Collaborates with business users and stakeholders to gather business requirements, document business processes, and recommend system enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
- Supports end users by resolving day-to-day operational issues and develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring business processes.
- Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves ERP system issues and application defects while coordinating with ERP support vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Conducts unit testing of system enhancements, updates, and fixes, and facilitates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to support successful system releases.
- Develops and maintains ERP user manuals, technical documentation, training materials, and delivers end user training to promote effective system utilization.
- Identifies opportunities to automate business processes and implements technology driven solutions that improve workflows and operational efficiency.
- Designs, develops, maintains, and supports operational reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions to meet organizational reporting requirements.
- Facilitates data extraction, integration, and reporting from ERP systems and databases while supports data warehouse operations and analytics solutions for informed decision making.
