The Functional Lead is responsible for driving SAP functional activities within ECC to S/4HANA upgrade projects, including additional enhancements. This role ensures alignment of SAP configuration and setup with business requirements and provides leadership in the delivery of high-quality functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP configuration and setup activities according to business requirements
Develop functional and technical design specifications
Provide project delivery leadership, ensuring milestones, quality, and governance are met
Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver functional solutions that support business processes
Qualifications & Certifications:
8+ years of relevant SAP functional experience
Bachelor’s degree or SAP-related qualification
Proven experience in project delivery leadership
Candidate Requirements:
Experienced, senior-level professional
Preferably with Public Sector project experience
Based in Cape Town or willing to work locally
