The Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) is seeking a Functional Family Therapy Specialist. This position will coordinate resources that help families navigate challenges and increase motivation for change. In this role you will use comprehensive data to maintain compliance with reporting requirements. If you have experience with interpreting and applying policy, we encourage you to apply.
The FFT Specialist will oversee the delivery of FFT services to youth and families referred by and through the Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA), including managing service reimbursement. This position, in coordination with FFT LLC, will track data and treatment outcomes for the FFT referred population.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of agency policies and procedures; of all state and federal legislation related to assigned agency programs; of sound methods of community organization and planning; and of current social and economic problems. Ability is required to evaluate programs; to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; and to interpret and apply policy material.
Annual Salary: $63,000
*This position is funded by a time-limited grant, with continued employment dependent on the availability of grant funding.
Education and Experience required at this level consists of a master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
